New Life Family Services is in need of office assistants now to be able to have their front desk open. NLFS provides support for those facing or have face unexpected pregnancies, encouraging pro-life choices and offering resources and support for that choice. Project Homeless Connect is a one-stop shop for delivering services to people experiencing homelessness. These services include: housing providers, employment specialists, medical care, mental health care, benefits specialists, eye care, haircuts, transportation assistance, food & clothing. We'll be offering services at the Minneapolis Convention Center twice a year. We need 1300 volunteers to make this happen. Have you always desired to make a difference in the lives of those facing unplanned pregnancies but are unsure how? Prayerfully consider volunteering at New Life Family Services. We are currently in need of volunteers in each of our five locations. Office Assistants provide significant and critical support necessary for the overall operation of our ministry. Various responsibilities may include answering phones, greeting clients, working with parents in our parenting education program, and assisting with light clerical and administrative tasks. Help Refugee Families Get the Furniture They Need: Do you own a truck or moving van? Be a part of an amazing ministry that helps resettle refugee families in Minnesota. Everyday MN Council of Churches' Refugee Services program has willing individuals with furniture donations, but not the means to transport the furniture to the families. MCC's Refugee Services is looking for anyone who has a truck and is able to/interested in donating some time to pick up and drop off furniture to our clients. Please contact Dan Huynh.

Meals on Wheels - You can have a "working lunch hour" that serves others. The typical delivery route takes 30 - 60 minutes to complete, and our local programs will work with you to schedule your volunteer delivery around your availability. To find opportunities in the community where you work, click here. If you work or live in Eden Prairie, Meals on Wheels of Eden Prairie delivers weekday, noon-time nutritionally balanced meals to residents of Eden Prairie. Deliveries may be long term or for a short term medical recovery. Information about the Eden Prairie program is available at 952-221-2123.

Volunteer at PCC
Office Help:
There are many projects done on a weekly, monthly, or periodic basis in the office that the office staff needs your help to complete.
Bulletins are folded each week on Thursday mornings. If you would like to help with this or other office needs, contact the office staff. You can also go to the online sign-up sheet to see the next openings.
Sunday Morning Ministry Opportunities:
Greeters are the first people to greet our guests as they come in the front door. If you have a warm smile and a willing spirit to welcome guests to PCC, sign up to be a greeter.
Coffee Fellowship is hosted following the morning worship service. Groups or individuals provide juice, and cookies for a time of fun and relaxed fellowship. Click here to see when the next openings are for your family or group to participate.
Ushers help to direct people on Sunday mornings and are responsible for collecting the offering and tidying up the sanctuary after the services. If you are interested in being an usher, speak with one of the ushers on Sunday morning.
PowerPoint Tech: Each week the PowerPoint tech person will create the presentation for Sunday morning and run the presentation during the service. Click here for a job description and requirements.
Sound Tech: The Sound Tech is responsible for running sound during the service on Sunday morning, setting up the sound equipment based on the needs for the service, and recording the service. Click here for a job description and requirements.
